New Practice Name!

Why the name, Hope Redeemed Counseling Services?  According to Merriam-Webster, hope is "To cherish a desire with anticipation; to want something to happen or to be true". It is amazing to me that hope is the one ingredient that determines success in therapy more than any other.  Not specific training or technique, but hope.  Training and technique are very important as well, but hope is the fuel that makes these effective.  The word redeemed is defined as: "to free from what distresses or harms".  I think this is what most people are looking for in their counseling journey...freedom from what is distressing and harming them.  It is my goal to help clients gain these two things: hope and freedom, no matter what their circumstance.  So, that is why I chose the name "Hope Redeemed Counseling Services".  Where have you found hope and freedom in your journey?
